Singareni emphasises energy security and state development

Singareni CMD Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti called for stronger energy contributions, employee commitment and collective efforts towards Telangana and national development.
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) should further enhance its contribution to Telangana’s industrial and economic development by efficiently meeting the state’s growing energy requirements, said SCCL Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti.
Speaking on the occasion of Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam 2026, he stressed the importance of maintaining sustained coal production and ensuring timely supplies to thermal power stations to strengthen the state’s energy security, particularly amid the possibility of higher power consumption due to El Niño conditions.
Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam 2026 was observed at Singareni Bhavan on Thursday, with SCCL CMD Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti unfurling the National Flag and addressing the employees and officials present at the programme. In his address, the CMD said every employee has a responsibility to make an effective contribution to Telangana’s development and the nation’s progress. He called upon employees and every individual to renew their commitment to the comprehensive development of the state and carry out their responsibilities with greater efficiency and dedication.
Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti stated that Singareni occupies a significant place in the development of Telangana and has a responsibility to continue supporting the state’s growth. He advised employees to perform their duties with dedication, keeping in view the interests of the company, the development of the state and the progress of the nation.
According to Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti, Singareni plays a vital role in Telangana’s development and has an obligation to keep fostering the state’s expansion. He counselled staff members to carry out their responsibilities with diligence, keeping in mind the company’s goals as well as the advancement of the state and the country.
