JK Tyre expands premium OTR range with four new application-specific tyres

JK Tyre introduced four new OTR tyres at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 for construction, material handling and mining applications.
JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, an Indian tyre major and pioneer in technological innovation, has launched four new OTR tyre solutions at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2026, being held at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Designed for construction, material handling and mining applications, the new tyres are engineered to offer enhanced durability, load-carrying capability, traction, and operational efficiency in demanding working conditions.
The newly launched products comprise the 12.5/80-18 MPT 45 16PR TL for Self-Loading Concrete Mixers (SLCM) and Backhoe Loaders, the 16/70-20 MPT117 14PR TL for SLCM and Telehandler applications, the 18-19.5 MPT117 18PR TL for SLCM applications, and the 12.00R20 JDO XD OTR 22PR 156/153F TT for Mining Tippers. These latest additions further strengthen JK Tyre’s premium OTR portfolio, offering application-engineered solutions developed to meet the evolving requirements of India’s construction, infrastructure and mining sectors.

The MPT117 pattern is designed for versatile construction and material-handling operations, delivering strong grip, enhanced durability and reliable performance for Self-Loading Concrete Mixers and Telehandlers. Its optimised tread geometry improves manoeuvrability and supports operator confidence in challenging working environments, while the 18-19.5 MPT117 has been specifically introduced for SLCM applications.
