Aggressively pushing toward a maiden mineral resource estimate, Copper One Resources vastly scales up its diamond core drilling program to target deeper copper-silver mineralisation in Nevada.
Aiming to rapidly define the ultimate scale of its Nevada-based flagship asset, Copper One Resources has officially expanded its upcoming Phase 2 diamond core drilling program at the Majuba Hill copper-silver-gold project. Announced to the markets on September 19, 2026, the company has executed an agreement with Evolve Exploration Nevada to scale the imminent drilling campaign up to a massive 10,000 feet (3,048 meters).
This significant expansion is designed to aggressively accelerate the systematic testing of high-priority geological targets previously identified through geophysics and historical data. By deploying heavy-duty HQ and PQ diamond core drilling rigs, the geological team intends to extract pristine, continuous rock cylinders from depths extending down to 1,700 feet. This deep-earth physical data is absolutely critical for accurately modeling the subterranean copper oxide and enrichment zones, directly supporting Copper One’s ultimate objective of publishing a fully compliant, maiden National Instrument 43-101 mineral resource estimate.
To maximise operational efficiency, Evolve Exploration will integrate its proprietary EVX Connect platform, providing Copper One’s technical teams with real-time digital tracking of drilling metrics, core photography, and exact rig azimuths. For the regional mining services sector, expanding a drill program to 10,000 feet translates into immediate, high-value contracts for heavy equipment operators, specialised geological assay laboratories, and bulk drilling consumable suppliers operating across northern Nevada.
